Visiting students at the St Michael’s Hospital in Accra were intrigued by the Electroencephalogram (EEG) Testing being carried out by PurplePoint Neurodiagnostics (PPN) technicians at the hospital, on Friday, May 30th 2025. The two students were excited by the process of brain testing and the technicians took the opportunity to brief them on the uses of the EEG tests and how they can access such training in addition to their nursing courses.
EEG (electroencephalogram) testing measures electrical activity in the brain. Common uses of EEG testing include diagnosing and monitoring epilepsy & seizure disorders, headaches, or dizziness.
